Allan MacDonald is a highly experienced Senior Data Architect with a remarkable 25-year career rooted in Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing. His journey began as a PowerHouse 4GL programmer, quickly evolving into expertise with the Cognos Business Intelligence suite. Allan spent five years as a Practice Architect with Teksystems. In this role, he was instrumental in assembling and leading multiple ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) teams, showcasing his strong leadership and technical prowess in data integration. During this period, he also spearheaded a significant three-year data vault implementation for a retail food chain, further cementing his expertise in complex data architecture projects.
Allan has served as the US Managing Director of a UK data consultancy and the CEO of Seisiun Analytics. He continued to demonstrate strong leadership by guiding numerous Data Vault implementation projects. In 2023, he left the role as Managing Director to concentrate solely on expanding Seisiun Analytics. He's proficient with various software providers in this space, including Vaultspeed and Wherescape. His commitment to a value-driven approach is evident in his strategic partnership with Datavault Builder, an automation software provider. Furthermore, Allan has assembled a senior team of Solution Architects, data engineers, project managers, and business analysts, each of whom has worked with him in the past and is fully aligned with his value-driven mindset.

Gordon Dixon
Bridging Financial Insight and Data Innovation for Manufacturing Excellence
Gordon is a highly experienced professional with a unique blend of financial acumen and data expertise, making him an invaluable asset for driving data projects in the manufacturing sector. His career began in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) within Fortune 100 and FTSE 100 companies, providing him with a deep understanding of business operations and financial drivers.
This foundation was further strengthened during his time as an Operational Excellence consultant at Capgemini, and has his Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. Crucially, he spent several years working directly with companies in the Toyota supply chain, gaining first-hand experience with world-class manufacturing principles and operational efficiency.
For the past five years, Gordon has specialized in Data Vault as an integration methodology, developing robust datasets that translate into actionable business improvement opportunities. His extensive experience in FP&A and operational consulting, particularly within manufacturing businesses and complex supply chains, allows him to keenly identify where data can unlock significant value. Gordon has a proven track record of delivering successful projects, primarily utilizing dbt. His recent move to Seisiun Analytics was driven by his recognition of Data Vault Builder's automation capabilities, which he believes will enable consistent, rapid delivery of projects and business value.
With his strong Business Analysis skills, Gordon ensures that data projects are meticulously defined with a clear focus on tangible outputs and outcomes for your business.
